Ok, the results for my race on Thanksgiving day came in, and I'm...ok with the time/place. Last year I finished 43:09, 56th in my age group, 203rd overall. It's not the worst I could have done, but definitely not what I wanted. This year, I finished with a 36:13, 25th in my age group, and 102nd overall. A vast improvement! I mean, I'm sure I could have run faster, but I just ran with PJ, and we kept it pretty loose. Until about the last mile, then I sprinted my little heart out. It was a good run, and I think I felt better about eating all the food I did later. There's no better excuse for running than justification of eating more food!
