Home Organizing

Husband went out of town today for a couple of days, so of course when I got home from work, I got busy on organizing everything. I organized the kitchen, my sock drawers, and then just every room, basically. I made a list, and instead of taking 3 days to finish (the length of time he'd be gone) I went ahead and finished 90% of the list tonight haha whoops. But, everything was looking so good. My socks were fire:

Then I had a project in the basement - I was moving all of our RSL scarves downstairs, and needed help with the towel bar I was using for it. My fam came over tonight and my BIL set it up - heck yes.

Loved getting so many projects done! Makes me feel so dang productive.

Shang Chi Dragon

This lego piece is just a really quick one, it took a v short time to do, since it's so small. But it was something that Gecko and I did together, and he had so much fun with it.

Fellas Foto Dump

Lots of photos of the fellas, so time to just throw them all up on here.

This is how he watches TV a lot, I love it.

Just faking asleep, as one does.

I told him he had food on his face, and he wanted the proof of a photo haha

No clue why he's sad, as per usual.

His dad was going to the bathroom and he decided to just wait outside the door. Like a tiny puppy.

Lego Piano!

Believe me when I tell you, this right here has taken forever.

It's a stressful project. It is so many pieces and moving parts and so many dang parts that have to come together. But now, it's finished, and I have never been so proud.

Behold!

Amazing. Glorious. Beautiful. And yes, it plays piano songs.

New Cards, New Cards

Time for new cards, babeeee! I am pleased with how these turned out, and glad that they didn't take all of my sanity trying to come up with them.

Now, do I make the worst cards in my group? Yes, probably I do. But you know what, I try, and that's all that matters.

Lego Red Truck

I finished my next Lego set today! This is a truck I got for Christmas, and I am HYPE for it. I don't know if I've mentioned on here before, but I hecking love this new red truck trend. Red truck hauling a Christmas tree? Heck yeah. Red truck hauling a bunch of hearts for Valentines? Sign me up. So when I saw this, I loved it, and I knew someone would get it for me.

It comes with different tiny things for each season! I love it so, what a great truck.

Do NOT take the baby's cashews

Epifanio loves cashews. It's always cashew o'clock up in here. We had a NYE celebration on Sunday (the fam was feeling sick on the actual day, so we just extended our holiday) and since he won't really eat any real person food, we bought him his own container of cashews. Then we learned, once he had it, he wouldn't give it up.

And then I asked for him to smile, and this is the best I got haha. What a great guy.

Happy New Year!

Y'all, we have made it to 2022. Absolutely wild, I can't believe how quickly and slowly the last few years have gone, during this pandemic. Let's revisit our goals for 2021 and see how I did.

Run every day (duh)
Read 50 books. (now that I have a job and it's not quarantine, it'll be slightly more difficult)
Make better choices. I'm not saying, no sugar, or something. I just need to consciously make better choices about food in general.

Okay, so yes, I did run every day. I ended up running 1862.2 miles last year! Yikes, might be too many, but oh well, I'm still alive.
Read 50 books. Okay, this was so close. I ended up reading 48 books. Most of my problem is that I ended up doing the Pioneer Book challenge. You've got to read 40 books - and they have to be specific books. Because I ended up not liking a lot of the books, I got so burned out on reading. So I did finish the challenge - but I was too over books to finish my own challenge.
Make better choices. I really did go up and down on this. Somedays I did really well, and others I really didn't. That's fine.

Now, let's do this year.

Run every day (so easy to do haha)
I'm going to say that I'm going to read 50 this year. I have faith, this year will be different.
Keep making good decisions about food in general (still!)
Go to one RSL game (I've just gotten real lazy about watching them on TV, but I should go to one)

You know, that's probably a good list, let's let the goals be small and the results be big.
Happy New Year!
