Y'all, we have made it to 2022. Absolutely wild, I can't believe how quickly and slowly the last few years have gone, during this pandemic. Let's revisit our goals for 2021 and see how I did.

New Year, Same Me
Running every day
Reading 15 books
Graduating college
Less processed sugar
Now let's see how I did!
Run every day - yes! Still continues! And I ran 1633.1 miles last year! Which is an increase over last years 1541.4, yeesh. There has to be a stopping point haha.
Reading 15 books - I did! I actually read 23 books! What a shock!
Graduating college - I did! I'm done! I finished!
Less processed sugar - I did super good on this for about 4 months and then alas I sort of fell off the wagon. Shoot.
Okay now, goals for this upcoming year -
Running every day (streak is now up to 1655 days!)
Reading 20 books - I think its possible, but didn't want to jump by book goal up too much just in case
I'm gonna try again with the sugar goal, and keep it going for longer than 3-4 months. Gonna go the whole year, we've got this!
Good work all of us, whether or not we reached our goals, hey, at least we tried! And we can always do better.

2016 is here!
Another goal I'd like to hit is to read 30 books this year. I barely scraped by with it this last year, and that's because I counted a children's book (about 10 pages) as one of the books. And I scraped by because I started and finished a book yesterday, barely making the goal but that's all right I say.
And lastly, a goal for 2016 is to get a 4.0 in both of the semesters of 2016. I have done this for the last two semesters (and getting a stupid 3.9 my first semester) so I have faith that this can happen - if I work my butt off.
Happy New Year, everyone! Let's make 2016 a great one.

Happy 2015
Happy new year, guys! I thought I would kick off the year with talking about my last year resolutions, and then see what I want to accomplish this new year. So here were last years:
1. I think this year, I’m going to jump the book number up to 30.
2. I’m going to do at least 230 blog posts.
3. A goal of mine is to get Husband on a vacation this year.
4. I want to increase my speed this year.
And here’s how I did!
1 – I read 31! Ha! ha ha ha! I did it! I did it!
2 – I did 296 holy cow. Let’s explain straight away that the only reason I got that many was because of the 100 days of happiness, and had to do 100 in a row. That’s literally the only reason.
3 – This was a success! We went to Oklahoma with his family, we went to Disneyland with his family, and we went on an amazing cruise and to Universal Studios in Florida! It was a good year, vacation-wise, which is good, because I don’t think we’ll be taking one this year.
4 – I honestly don’t know if I did this or not. My times were pretty comparable to last year, but the last few races of the year were super quick because I ran them by myself, so comparing them to when I ran with PJ is a different ball field.
So there it is, my accomplishments. And honestly, I don’t really have any goals for this year. I mean, I would like to continue to read as much as I have been, and my running goal is to run at least 3 miles per day (collectively over the year) because in 2014, I ran 709.9 miles over the course of the year, and I’d like to make that a little more. So we’ll see if those come true! And in any case, good luck with any goals you set!

Happy New Year!
1. To make myself more aware of, and thus save, the money I spend. So many times, I just buy things without thinking, and I need to stop this, and change it. Its not that I'm saving up for anything big or anything, but I think I should have money saved up in case I need it. I hear that's important.
2. I need to be healthier. I don't think I'm at the bottom of the heap, health-wise or anything, but I feel like I need to make better food choices, and possibly be more active. I mean, I get that I run every day, but I think I should do a little more, and maybe cut out a little sugar. Not all sugars, of course, but I think I could consume less.
3. I'm going to read 20 books this year. Last year, I got like, 16, and that is sad. I wish I was more well read, but sometimes, I just don't have the time for it. But it seems with the Kindle I got for Christmas, I'm reading a little more, because books are more accessible, and are right at my fingertips! So while I'd like to get more than 20 read, my minimum number here is 20.
4. I want to get 250 posts here on my blog. Last year, I had 190 (which is a lot, I know, and I thank you all for reading them) but I want to get a little more. My blog has turned into sort of a journal for me - every year I like to have it printed out to be able to keep in my records, and have a hard copy, so I'd like to record more events, and more things on here, and just keep you guys interested.
Now, I'm not saying that come 2014, you'll see a totally new Vieve. But I think that perhaps by then, you may see an improved one. I hope that if anyone here sets goals, you stick with them all throughout the year. Good luck!
