Achievement Unlocked

So for the past few months, I have been working on my Personal Progress. I won't pretend anyone reads this or isn't LDS that reads this, so I won't explain. After I had been working on it, and was really close to finishing it, I learned that leaders actually do less in terms of the activities. There are a bunch of things they have to do under every value, 8 in total, with 6 experiences under each value, plus a 10 hour project. After I was almost finished, with 2 value experiences remaining and 1.5 of the value projects, I learned that leaders only have to do 3 experiences under every value, and 3- 10 hour projects. Whhaaaaaaat?! I was done ages ago! So tonight at YW, they gave me my award. My YW made me feel special, they made me a laurel crown, like old-timey Olympians got, and made me feel cool. Here am I with my crown:

 And then afterwards, of course we had to take a pic with all of the Laurels there, because it was such a fun celebration of everyone.

I'm just so proud of it, I'm very glad I finished it. My next goal...getting the Honor Bee!

Christmas is a time for crafts

So now that Christmas is over and I've given out my gifts, I am finally going to post the stuff I homemade this year and was so proud of.

 I learned how to make homemade candles this year! I chose the scent of lilac, yum.

I made this for my SIL, her name starts with an A and this is all just pics of us.

I think they all turned out pretty good and I can't wait to come up with new ideas next year!

Nap time

Today, Darth woke up from a nap at my house, and when he wakes up, he is legit the most grumpy human that has ever lived. So luckily, I had popcorn at the ready (yeah, it was mine but I was willing to share haha) and I was prepared for grumps. Luckily, he wasn't so bad.

What a cutie guy, I wish he lived nearer to me.

Happy New Year!

Guys, happy new year. I hope that everyone had a safe holiday. I had a chill night with mostly kids (nieces and nephews, etc.) that left around 10:00. I got ready for bed (yup) and cleaned up the house from all these jokers, and then there was about half hour until midnight. I dutifully stayed up until 12:30, until I promptly went to bed. I did all right on my goals for the year, I improved my mileage. 2015 running miles was: 757.1, and my 2016 mileage was 1253.39. Holy improvement! I don't think I need to improve that, so I just want to stay near that same mileage. I didn't read as many books as I wanted to, but with how busy school is getting, I don't know that I will improve on that, and that's all right. I just want to keep reading my own books, we'll see if that happens this year. I'm going to keep working on school, I did all right this last semester, all A's, and then a B- in Calculus, which is all I need, so I'm just pleased as punch with that.
