Gecko Writes a Book!

 Gecko wrote a book for school this week and I finally got to see it today. I love it.

Amazing, I love it. 

School Assignments

 Oh em gee y'all. Gecko has turned in an assignment that brought me such joy. 

He says, about the last time he was excited, "when I was excited it was when it was my first time ever meeting my aunt Vieve". Perfection. And I'm thinking he means, when it was first time coming to my new house in Cali, since he wouldn't have been old enough to realize that we were meeting, when it was his first time ever meeting me, with him being a few days old only haha. I love this child, he is the best. 

A Haircut for the Gentlemen

 The fellas got haircuts today (for the impending school year oh my gosh I can't believe it's already time) and they're looking smashing. I only have a pic of Gecko and he looks dang amazing. 

Gecko's Graduation

 Tiny Gecko is graduating from kindergarten today! It seems an absolute waste for them to have a ceremony for such an easy grade, but sure, let's roll with it. Of course I was there to cheer on my favorite guy. 

He had such a great time and was absolutely singing his heart out on the songs they did. 

Congrats to this little man! 

Happy Birthday, Gecko!

 Y'all, our tiny friend Gecko is turning 6! He's a man! We had a fabulous day with him, took him to Brick Oven for lunch, went to Color Me Mine (where he of course chose a Dino to paint) and then had a party for him at Nickel City. We decorated a Dino cake for him, also. 

I played some games with Epifanio whilst everyone else was playing Lazer Tag (The poor tyke was scared in the dark) and he had a great time. 

And at the end of the night, I turned my tickets in for this amazing turtle, whom I called Giacomo

Gecko Starts Kindergarten!

 Guys, I can't believe Gecko is starting kindergarten. He's a tiny man now.

A Graduate!

 Y'all, we have ourselves a preschool graduate! Today, Gecko graduated with the highest of honors (that's a lie) and he was just as cute as can be.

Christmas Officially Starts

 Y'all, Christmas can officially start, Gecko has his Christmas sweater. 

Baby Shenanigans

 I babysat some fellas today, Epifanio and Gecko, while Darth is in school. We had lunch and then decided to watch a movie. They decided to be weirdos and slam their bodies for the whole time. 

They are just absolute weirdos but so cute. 

Errands with Gecko

 Today I needed to get a few things, and Gecko came with me. When we got out of the car, I realized what a dang hecking cutie he is. 

He's so cute I could die. 

A Boy and His Dinos

 I don't know if I've mentioned it on here before, but Gecko hacking loves dinosaurs. He can name so many, he watches Jurassic World over and over again (he watches only certain parts - anything with the Dinos. if it's related to plot, he's not interested) and is obsessed. Recently he got an Indominus Rex giant Dino. After he got this toy, he kept showing us how the final fight between the Rex and the water dinosaur (nope, don't remember the name went). I think I saw his reenactment like 9 times. 

What a great fella, I legit hope he grows up to be a paleontologist. 

Fellas Shenanigans

Today was my brother in law's birthday, so we all went there for a good time. I have to share the fun videos that we took as we were just hanging out.

Then we went on a walk, and Darth insisted he could hold Epifanio while we walked. I was so nervous to let him do it, but look how cute!

Gecko Finally Gets Some Stitches

Today, I had a call from my sis, as I was expecting her over. She said that Gecko had cut himself pretty deep and they had to get to the doc. I babysat the other fellas as she brought him in, and then got the pic of the cut.

 Then he got the stitches.

Then, of course, I had to hear the story of what happened. And in classic Gecko fashion, it involved food. He was trying to cut open a jawbreaker (or as he called it, the eye candy) with a pair of scissors and they slipped and cut him wide open. Oh buddy. Heal fast.

Graduation Part 2

Y'all, Gecko has now graduated as well! His was from preschool, and I really don't think he cares too much haha. The first picture we tried to get wasn't great (but was classic Gecko) and then he gave us a normal smile in the second.

Look at this fella, graduating like a regular human. They're getting so big!

y'all, the fellas are sometimes too cute for words. Their dance skills are just undeniable.

Today I went shopping with Gecko, and I saw this chair. I asked him if he thought it was comfy and he got in and sat down. Then the weirdo did these weird poses, so of course I had to get a picture of him. He is just such a weirdo sometimes, I love it.

When I take a pic of Oli, he usually throws up a thumbs up, showing his good times.

A Day with the Fellas

The fellas came over to enjoy this fine warm Sunday, and of course pictures were taken. 

 I love this picture because it looks like Darth is just having an existential crisis.

I don't love the top pic there, the angle just is so unflattering and makes me look so so so so chubby haha but the bottom picture makes up for it. 

We had a fun day and luckily got to spend so much time outside because of how weirdly warm it is right now. The weather in Utah is wild, y'all. 

Followed by the First Day of Preschool

Not to be outdone, Gecko starts preschool today! I am honestly so excited for him.

He doesn't have all the crazy pics like his brother, but he's just so happy all the time and I can't wait for him to make new friends his own age!
