The Lovely Couple

My sister-in-law recently got married. (To a man, this is important for the story later). This is their first Christmas together.  They were given this as a gift, an ornament for their new tree. The gift giver must not have been looking closely, as you'll see also: 

I just absolutely love this. Keep an eye on gifts you buy, gotta make sure you're buying the right thing. 

Gifts Reveal!

Okay y'all, now that the gift giving of Christmas is over, I can finally reveal all of the homemade gifts I made!

 For my aunt who is a teacher, of course.

 If I was better at crafts, I would have loved to distress this hello sign, but I didn't want to ruin it, in case it didn't go well.

 I made a homemade vanilla! Basically you put a few cut up vanilla beans into vodka (ya girl had to go into the liquor store, can you believe?) and let it sit for two months!

I got most of my crafts from Wood Connection, what a great store for stuff that makes you feel like a champion.
But yay! Now Christmas is over, what a fabulous holiday. Hopefully everyone had a great one!

Christmas is a time for crafts

So now that Christmas is over and I've given out my gifts, I am finally going to post the stuff I homemade this year and was so proud of.

 The neighbor gift of champions, mints that look like a snowman.

 I learned how to make homemade candles this year! I chose the scent of lilac, yum.

I made this for my SIL, her name starts with an A and this is all just pics of us.

I think they all turned out pretty good and I can't wait to come up with new ideas next year!
