Today I had a race, the Provo City 5K. It’s the Chase the Mayor race, but sadly, this year, I finished just right behind him. I finished pretty well, 25:22, and I was kind of glad, until I got to see how I fared. Something interesting this year, they printed off a race receipt for you, as soon as you were done:
So even with my pretty good time, I finished 6th, so I’m really disappointed by that. And when I got home, I did better this year than last year, but I guess the mayor just got better as well. Oh well. But I’m glad I did my time that quickly, because it gives me hope for the rest of the races this year.
