Walk of Death…death…death…death

All right, I’ve been meaning to get this on here for a few days now, but things have been a little busy, so I’m just finally getting to it today!

The other day, Chelle and I went on a walk during work. It was warm, and lovely, not too hot. As we were walking, I looked down and saw a dead bird. I almost stepped on it, actually, but luckily, I didn’t. We remarked on it, and went on our way. A block later, we look down and see about 7 dead snails, just laying there, in their shells. We named them the Snailston family (not to be confused with the McSnailingtons, my friends, and their rival clan the OSnaileys.) We said a few nice words for their passing, and went on our way. Another few blocks later, we look, and there’s a giant dead bird, beak down, in the lawn. Well, by now we had figured out, this was a walk of death.

We saw too many dead animals for it to be a coincidence of something. Is this a sign from the universe? Is there something bigger than us, telling us something? What is this?! WHAT’S HAPPENING?!

And now, 2 days later, we’ve had torrential rains, winds, lightning, and thunderstorms. Is this a sign of the apocalypse? Maybe. There’s something out there…telling us to beware of something…

Or, maybe, the birds just had accidents, and the snails were left out in the 90 degree heat and couldn’t survive. It seems like a perfectly reasonable explanation of things.

OR DOES IT?!
