Happy Christmas!

 Merry Christmas! Today was such a low key Christmas, being just the two of us. We had a pretty usual day, and then Husband made us an absolutely delicious cranberry beef thing for dinner. 

Hope you guys had a good Christmas as well. 

The Last of the Christmas Lego

 I have caught the dreaded flu, and have an upper respiratory infection. This happened on Thursday - after having flown home from Utah (did I get it on the flight? From family members/friends? We'll never know) so because this is my third time being sick since the end of October, I finally went and saw a doctor. He diagnosed me and sent me on my way, prescribing plenty of rest among other things. I think Husband feels badly for me, because he let me open one of my presents early - a Lego! I got to put it together tonight and it was so lovely. 

And then the fam sent me this photo, and it hurt my heart to be missing everyone this year.

Airport Friends

 We flew hone yesterday, and it was a relatively early flight. Not that the flight was - but we had to leave at 8:00 AM, so there was no time for dilly-dallying in the morning. We got to the airport, and as we were walking through to terminal B (which, if anyone flying out of SLC airport knows - is a dang trek) we ran into some family! We ran into our niece, who was flying in for Christmas from Hawaii. We were so happy to see each other for even just those few minutes. 

Night with the Fellas

 I got to babysit the fellas tonight, and first we did a little shopping to grab some stuff. Epifanio had many feelings here, and just had to take a minute. 

Then he rallied and had a great time. At dinner, he asked for a brownie and I told him he couldn't have a brownie until he finished his dinner. So he absolutely scarfed it down. 

Then, after eating, he actually didn't eat his brownie, which made me laugh. We got in our PJ's and brushed our teeth, and were ready for sleeping.

 I got to see Lady G for lunch today, and we had a blast, of course.

 We did Christmas with Husband's family yesterday, and he got them all swag from his new job to wear in these cold months. Then my SIL asked me to snap some photos for them, in their matching swag, for their Christmas card. I'm obvs a very good photographer.

Back in Utah!

 Back in Utah this weekend! My sister won(? I don't know that it's a winning, but it certainly is a lottery type situation to get these tickets) tickets to see the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square, and we were hyped. Lea Solanga was going to be the guest this year, and I was so excited. So we had spent the day celebrating Christmas with my family (since we won't be here on actual Christmas Day) and then headed up. Due to bad traffic, we had wasted a good chunk of our pre-concert-dinner time in various traffic jams. We then tried to get faster food, and the only one that we could get in time was Subway. Which we then ate whilst walking as fast as we could in the freezing ass cold. I had to snap a pic of us doing this, to remember the insanity. Never put the two of us in a stressful situation - we are the anxiety twins and don't deal well with it! 

It wasn't a great concert, but we had fun together, and that's what matters.

Disneyland !

 A couple of weeks ago, Husband and I were able to score Annual Passes for Disneyland. They went on sale for exactly one day, and we had happened to hear about it through a friend. I got online immediately and stayed there for about an hour or so, before finally being able to buy them. And now, we just get to pop in when we have time! I love it! We went today for a little and it was just so lovely. 

I'm gonna love having this kind of access now!

 Now that I have my regular tree up, time to get the Lego tree up as well.

Christmas is on the Way

 I finally have my tree up! I know, it's not even December yet, but my goal was to have it up the day after Thanksgiving. I, unfortunately, had to work that day, and the Saturday after, so I didn't have much time. I just had to do a little by little each day until it was done today. 

Yes, our tree is in the kitchen ... because that's the spot we have for it haha this house has a very odd layout. But I love it, and it's a great place, and central viewing as soon as you walk in the front door. And now the rest of the house is complete, so it's time to celebrate the holidays!

Epifanio is here to help kick off the holiday season, now that Thanksgiving is over with. 

Thanksgiving!

 Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! This will be my first Thanksgiving in 30-mumbles years that I haven't been at my family's house. It's a wild first to have to do, but we all have to do it at some point! So it was just Husband and I for the day, and I actually didn't even do a turkey trot this year (I don't know how the racing scene in Cali works yet, I still have a lot to learn about this area) so it was just a weird year in general. For dinner, one of Husband's co-workers came over with his family, so we had a bit of interaction outside ourselves. It was fun to get to know new people, but of course I stressed about meeting strangers all day long haha. 

Then, in the evening, I got a pic of Lady G's Thanksgiving outfit, and boy, it did not disappoint. 

More Reunited with More Babies

 Since I was in the area, I of course had to see all of my babies. Since I have a bit of a cold, I met with Lady G and her mom (my cousin) in the park and we had an outdoor walk, just to avoid germs as best as we could. 

But I had to get in for some snuggles! She's too cute to resist. 

Concert Night!

 Tonight was the concert! We finally got to see Maneskin in all their glory. For those that don't know anything about them, they are an Italian rock group - and their songs are so fun. Here's a band pic:

Here they are directly after winning Eurovision in 2021. And of course I didn't take any pics at the concert, because I never do haha I'm always just in the moment. So it was a blast, I blew out of my voice, I had hearing loss (probably not, but everything was so faint that night haha) and then when we finally got home (long after my bedtime!) we found Epifanio, and he had fallen asleep in the best way. 

Of course he fell asleep on his iPad, and I needed to snag a pic both with and without that haha. But look at this sweet baby boy, awww. 

Reunited and it Feels So Good

 I had to go to Utah this week - and by had, I mean, I got to! There is a band that I found on Eurovision last year that is my sisters favorite band of all time. So when we heard they were coming to SLC, we got tickets as fast as we could. Then, many months later, I moved to Cali. So of course I had to fly in to experience the fun. I got there tonight and immediately got to see my babies. 

We were so glad to see each other, I miss seeing these goobers several times a week! 

Stranger Things Lego

 I have finished my first big Lego project in the new house! For my birthday I was given the Stranger Things Lego set. I had to wait until we moved to do it (there was no way I was going to risk losing pieces in the move haha) And today, I finally finished it, it only took two months after moving in to start and finish the set. 

It's so dang cool! Everything on one side is replicated on the other side - just in a dark and creepy way, so it's a really cool mirror image of itself. 

Such a Smiley Gal

 I can't get enough of this little niece of mine. She's so dang happy and smiley all the time, and every picture of her brings me joy.

Adios to Family

 We had more family members show up to visit (they were all visiting Disneyland, how lovely for us to live so close!) ad we got to hang out today as a whole big group. We snagged a pic before people left for the airport, now that I'm older I appreciate commemorating these moments.

Blogging Every Day?

 I know that every year, in November, it's National Blog Every Day month. 

However

This year, I really don't think I could do it. I have so much less content for myself, being with just Husband in a new state, no tiny humans around to play with, and nothing really going on. So I'll just blog my normal amount and so sorry to anyone (I know it's nobody) that was expecting me to follow through on tradition. I'm doing my best over here! 

Halloween 2022

 It's so weird to be away from everyone as holidays and major life events go by. I just get to see everything from afar, whilst enjoying everything just via media. But I am determined to make sure these kiddos know that I'm still here, and ready to be a part of everyone's lives. But the fellas dressed up and looked great, of course. 

Every time I see Epifanio next to his brothers, he looks so dang tiny and small. I know this won't always be the case, but it's so fun to see now. 

Family!

 Adam's brother and his fam have popped into town this week, how fun! So we spent the day doing fun things, and then we were pooped by the time it was afternoon, so we all watched a movie (and most of us slept). But my SIL snagged a pic, and I loved it. 

Seems like I'm destined to forever have nieces and nephews all over me haha, but I do love it.
