Changing of Seasons

Today we'd set aside time to go visit mama's grave and put up decor for Fall, since that's right around the corner.

We put together a Fall bouquet and you can't see it in the angle I did here, but there's a tiny gnome (her fav) and a little pumpkin. She loved the holidays and we want to make sure she can still celebrate.

Pics from the Trip

This has been such a busy weekend! I've actually had to work from here for most of it, so that's unfortunate, but we're still having a fun time.

Utah Trip

I headed to Utah for this weekend, going to have a quick jaunt of fun with everyone. I got in this afternoon and headed straight for the fellas of course.

After eating and settling in, we (Epifanio) decided we should watch the newest tripod movie (War of the Worlds) that came out this past weekend. I'm not gonna lie, this movie is TRASH but of course he loved it and was so intrigued.

Family Visits

My brother and his family have visited us this week, we are keeping it low key but still having fun. Today, after work, we headed to Downtown Disney and just bopped around. We went into shops, had a delicious ice cream and just enjoyed the Christmas ambiance.

Disney Day

The fun thing about living so near to Disneyland is that it's such a popular vacation spot for people. So anytime anyone wants to come to vacay here, if they contact me beforehand, can usually snag a day with me at Disneyland. My sister in law and her husband were on their way through Cali on their way to a different vacay, and wanted to do a quick Disney day. I was happy to oblige, and off we went.

Here we are, on Mickey and Minnie's Railroad, after the ride broke and we had to wait to be collected off the ride.

I'm so happy I got Husband (and everyone else) to wear Mickey ears! I love them haha.

The Fellas Arrive!

The time has come for the family vacay, and we're all here for the fun! The family took the 7:00 AM flight out of Provo (oof) so I got this fab pic as they all rolled out of bed and got onto the airplane.

Lady G in the House!

Y'all, Lady G is in the house! She's made her way to Cali, and we got to spend the day together.

I had of course been the best aunt ever and got her her first pair of Minnie ears.

She absolutely knows how to turn on the smiles for the camera haha

She longed for the outside but it was pouring so we didn't go

This tiny chair is too dang cute!

Mission San Juan Capistrano

PJ visited me in Cali this weekend, so we went on a little tourist vacay. We headed down to San Juan and visited the Mission Capistrano there. It's a very old Catholic mission, and was so cool to see.

Adios to Family

We had more family members show up to visit (they were all visiting Disneyland, how lovely for us to live so close!) ad we got to hang out today as a whole big group. We snagged a pic before people left for the airport, now that I'm older I appreciate commemorating these moments.

So fun!

Family!

Adam's brother and his fam have popped into town this week, how fun! So we spent the day doing fun things, and then we were pooped by the time it was afternoon, so we all watched a movie (and most of us slept). But my SIL snagged a pic, and I loved it.

Seems like I'm destined to forever have nieces and nephews all over me haha, but I do love it.

We Love a Social Distance Visit

My sister in law is in town right now for an unexpected family event. She came with her smallest child, he is only 9 months old, I believe. Luckily today was good weather, because that meant we could visit outside with no issues. We were masked up, about 10 feet apart, and chatted for a bit. My nephew is much bigger than the last time I saw him (which was June), and looks so much different now! I snapped a pic from a distance.

Ahhhh cutie! So glad to be able to see them.

Another thing to check off my list!

About a week ago, my sister texted me to tell me she was going to be out of cell phone range for a few days, so if I need to text her, she'll get back to me when she is back in range. Shrugging it off, I said ok, and that was that. A day or so later, a friend at work came to tell me she found something on the internet. Bringing it up-I saw-my baby sister was in jail! I was surprised at this-as I'm sure anyone would be, to hear this sort of news. We did some researching, and after a week of her being in there, she could finally have visitors, so of course I rolled up over there to do some visiting.
We got there, and had to go through a metal detector, which took me a few times to go through it. I forgot to take my keys out, oops. Then we had to wait in the lobby, full of people until our prisoner's name was called. I was laughing the whole time! I know it's a serious situation, but I just kept laughing at the whole thing. I couldn't help it! Finally, we went up the longest hallway and staircase ever, where we saw her, standing behind a glass window. I sat at the seat, and picked up the phone. That's right, we had to talk through glass on the phone!
I pulled out all my prison cliches, hand on the glass, swearing to get her out of there, all those things that you've always wanted to do. She was released today, so her stint was short lived-only 8 days. Seeing her in that orange jumpsuit was pretty priceless, though. If they allowed you to take in a camera, or at least my phone, I would have gotten a good pic, but sadly, no dice.
And my friendly tip to everyone: if for no other reason to avoid prison, nobody looks good in that color of orange.
