A Little Light Goes a Long Way

As I mentioned before, I got a toilet light at my book club retreat. I installed it, and then the fellas came over to investigate. They love it.

I might have to get a couple of these and put them in each bathroom in the house!

True Love

So, the youth in my ward come over every Sunday after church. We all chill, eat a snack after our 3 hour meeting, and chat. There’s too many that come, so half are in the kitchen (where I usually am) and then half are in the front room. I have a dinosaur note holder in my front room, with papers in his back, for the notes. There’s a thing the kids in my ward do, they write 2 names on these notes, and if the note make it to the next Sunday, than that couple is meant to be. It’s kind of funny to look through the names after they leave, and see who wants what relationship to happen. This past Sunday I was looking, and lo and behold, our names had made it!

I reckon it’s true love already, but we’ll see if it makes it to Sunday!

Jugglin‘

I found out about an app today that has changed my life. Ok, I can’t guarantee the life-changing event, but I sure have had a LOT of fun with it this afternoon. It’s called Face Juggler, and it does exactly what it says it will. You import a picture of people, and it’ll move everyone’s faces around until no one has their original face. I did it with many pictures, but these ones were my favorite:

Honestly, we look like monsters here. My face on her body (pink shirt) isn’t too bad, but her face on mine looks pretty horrible.

He on her face looks just like an ugly guy, but her face on his body makes him look like the best drag queen ever.

This one doesn’t work on about a hundred different levels. Our heads are just too different, size-wise.

So there it is. I’ve been laughing at these all day, and sending them to people to laugh at too, so I hope you enjoyed these as well.

A new regular feature!

Some people that blog have regular things they do. Chelle has her "Favorite Things Friday" (which, I won't lie, I almost thought of stealing the idea...) and ok, that's the only regular thing I can think of, but I decided to start my own thing that I'll do every week, or every other week, or just when it strikes my fancy. I had the perfect thing to start it off with, but I had a better use for that (to be said later!) so I chose something perfect for today.
My new feature, which has yet to have a name, will be me sharing my current internet video obsession. Ok, maybe obsession is too strong a word. But I see loads of videos, and I think they're hilarious. And since it seems to be a weird thing to bring up in conversation, I've decided to post them here. If you don't want to take the time to watch these or whatev, don't feel forced to, but I think they're hilarious, so I hope you do!
The first video is an oldie but goodie. The first time I saw this, I died laughing. Hopefully, you'll find it funny also! I tried to figure out how to post this directly onto the blog, but I am not that fab with technology. So sorry, you'll have to click on the link to watch the video. So far, my name for this new feature is Vieve's Videos, but I feel that's misleading, that maybe you'll think I'm in the videos, and that is not true. But anyway, enjoy the video, and if you can think of a name for my new thing, let me know!
