Disney Day

 A few months ago, we were trying to get Epifanio to be toiled trained. He was just not into it. His mom and dad tried a couple times and he was just not interested at all. Finally, I hopped onto a FaceTime with him and asked him what it would take for him to get potty trained. I could send him a toy, anything he wanted. He waited for about 10 seconds and then said, I want to come to your house and go to Disneyland. I said sure, buddy, anything you want. 

That punk was completely toilet trained a full 24 hours later. 

He played us like fiddles. 

But, my word is my bond so as soon as his mom was ready to walk around a bit (from the hip surgery) we booked them and out they came. We originally were going to do just a day for him, but then we let the other fellas have a Disney day, but we did Cars land as they did regular Disney. We started the day out nice and early and PUMPED.

Then we did a quick jaunt home for people to nap. They didn't make it. 

After a quick pool visit, change into non-sweaty clothes and some rest, we headed back to the parks. 

We had some dinner, we rode the carousel, and then rode his favorite ride, Small World (we only found out this was his favorite after he rode it, it was his first time)

Then we decided to head home. As we were walking through the parking lot we realized we could see the fireworks perfectly where we were, and had a quick seat to watch. 

It was such a fun day! 

Angels Game!

 Of course with everyone in town, we hit up an Angels game. It was a hit!

After the game, they let kids run around the bases on the field. Gecko opted out, but Darth and Epifanio wanted in on that action. 

It's a little long and you can skip ahead, but look at how cute Darth is - he's making sure Epifanio keeps up and has fun, its so so sweet!

Time for a Visit!

 Good news y'all, it's time for another visit from the fellas! I got this pic this morning (they were on the 7:00 AM flight out of Utah)

They were hype of course, and then of course we all know what they did as soon as they got here. 

They always gotta get in the pool as quickly as they can! 

Disney 100 Medals

 My favorite race is a virtual race. Don't have to go anywhere, can do it whenever I want ... I love it. A white ago I signed up for the Disney 100 Race, and my medals finally came today! 

I love them! 

Disney Lego

 There are so many new Disney Lego sets this year - which I'm sure I've said before (but yeah I'm not gonna go back and check). Today I finished one that's just ... hmm I'm not actually sure what this is, but I still love it. 

So cute! I know there's a little film protector and a tiny desk and a little cake and it's all very cute and I love it. 

Jaunt through the Sprinklers

 Someone ran through the sprinklers in the backyard this morning. 

Freedom Finger

 Today I had to head back to Cali (ugh) but got to hang out in the morning with everyone. We inadvertently started a war between Epi and Husband (Husband wasn't able to come due to the dog and we missed him). So it started innocently enough, where I would tell Epi to flip off Husband and I would send it in a snapchat. 

So then Husband would respond as well.

And so on and so forth.

I love this hahaha. We had so much fun, and sadly I hav to go home. I'm hype I got to go see everyone, and can't wait unit the next time.

Birthday Day !!

 Today was the blessed day of the birth of my favorite sister!

We celebrated by taking in a baseball game - the Bees, to be exact. First of all, I did realize that we taught Epifanio some bad habits. 

It's toooo funny when he does this, I laugh so hard every time hahaha. 

Then up to the game! It was so so fun. So so hot. 

(yes, make sure to peep that Epifanio also did a flip off at the game, subtly haha)

And then on the way home, everyone was wiped. 

After a nap and a meal, we were revived and took a walk. 

All in all, a fun day! 

Weekend Shenanigans

Time for the weekend to begin. Now, I know, going into this, that it would be a chill weekend.  My sister is only a month out from her hip surgery, so she's still not 100% mobile for long periods of time. And that was fine with me - I could just be sitting in silence here and it would be a good time. We spent the morning doing regular shopping errands and just hanging out.

A Surprise!!

 Guys, I am terrible at surprises. I'm just too excited, I give things away so easily. But this year, I had a great one. A few months ago, I decided to surprise my sister for her birthday. So I booked a plane ticket, made plans for that weekend and just had to wait. ...and wait ... and wait ... guys the waiting was the worst! Then she would float the idea of something happening that weekend and I just kept having to be like, ah dang I have to work that weekend, shoot. 

So then, finally the day was here. I took extra steps to make sure it would be a surprise. I stopped sharing locations on all the apps that do so, just in case. I concocted a story of having to go to a dinner for Husband's work, which could explain away any texting absences. Husband even went far enough to stop at his school after dropping me off, and sending a Snapchat from campus to make it look like we were there. It was perfect. The flight was slightly delayed, then it took forever to get luggage, but finally, I was there! I snuck in the house (it was nearly 10:00 at this point so the boys were all in bed) and gave me surprise. 

It worked! The surprise worked! What a victory! I was counting on my BIL to get some video of the interaction but in an old-man move, he absolutely just got 3 seconds of nothing haha. But now, the birthday weekend can begin!!

All Aboard!

The problem with living so near Disneyland is, I go there all the time. 

Yes, I agree this is probably not a problem. 

However, I do end up spending money on things that I would just not know even exists if we weren't there all the time! For example, Mickey conductor hats. 

Come on, so cute, I had to get them! 

Angels 5k

 The fun part about moving to a new state is finding new races you just have to do. I stumbled up on this Angels 5K a couple of months ago and definitely wanted to do it. I signed up and then PJ happened to be in town, so I made her sign up too.

The unfortunate thing is that when the time for the race rolled around, I had gotten really sick - I have a cold right now that is absolutely kicking my butt. Bad cough, bad sore throat, lost voice, the whole banana. (and no, not Covid, I've checked many times haha)

But we persevere! 

Now would it have been great if I had remembered to do any pics of us doing the race? Sure, but that's not what I'm about haha.
