That...was gross

My bathroom sink, of late, has been not draining well at all. Whenever I use it, it takes forever to get the water gone. I chalked it up to like a drainage issue, so I bought some Drano and poured in the whole bottle, thinking that would take care of it. I mean, if half a bottle is good, a whole one must be better, right? So I pour it in, wait the time it told me, which was half an hour. Of course, I lost track of time, so it might have been a little more time than they needed, but I thought that would be ok.
The next step was, as I'm sure everyone knows, to rinse hot water through the pipes, so I did that, and still....no draining. I tried it for like, 15 minutes, and I think it just kept getting worse. I tried to pull out the drain stopper-thing, but had no luck with that either. Defeated, I went to people who know more about this than I - brother and father. Together, they tackled the sink. They did some pulling apart of pipes, some jiggling of things, and then, it all started to come out. They were pulling some junk of of the pipes. I'm fairly certain we pulled a small animal out of there. I don't actually know what was pulled out of there, but oh my gross. I almost vomited at it. Luckily, they cleaned it all up, and put everything back together, and now...it drains!
I'm psyched that finally my sink will not be all stopped up with water, and grateful to those that that fixed it for me. I'll make sure now to keep hair out of the sink (although in my defense, the hair we pulled out belongs to my sister, from when she was staying here with me. Her hair is vastly different than mine, I can tell the difference) and hopefully, no more small animals with hang out in my sink, and get sucked down the drain.
