He can sit up! He’s becoming a real boy!
He did not like the attempt at turning him into Rosie the Riveter.
But he is working these blue eyes like a charmer.

It has come. It’s come for me. It’s here for me.
The flu.
I got it this morning. Well, technically, last night. As I was going to bed, I had a stomachache, but I chalked it up to having eaten a million potato wedges that we made. But then I woke up in the middle of the night, and drove the porcelain bus for a good long while and then, I was done for.
I unfortunately had to still go about my day, but when I got home, I laid down on the couch, and I haven’t moved here since about 11:30, with the exceptions of bathroom trips.
I hope I get over this soon, because today feels like it may be my last on earth, I feel so awful.
Everyone, avoid this. I hope you don’t catch this at all.
Ok, the title of this might be misleading, but I don’t even care. A night or so ago, I got an email from UVU that said the following:
I was so pumped! I really did work really hard last semester, and when you factor in the facts that I have been out of school for over 13 years, I really am just so happy to have done this well. It’s my goal to keep riding this GPA wave, and get a great one this semester as well!
All right, now that we’re back in to the swing of things, we’ll continue looking at fabulous pictures of baby!
Learning how to pray…or throw a tantrum, I don’t know.
Learning how to brush his teeths.
He’s finally learning how to smile in a picture! Even if it is a bit awkward, ha ha!
I have card swap this weekend, and of course, left my cards to the last minute. I should have done it during the break, but alas, I just decided to go ahead and wait until this week to make them. I think they turned out pretty cute, I had to do a boy baby card and a sympathy card.
The sympathy card isn’t as sympathetic as it probably could be, but I think it’s pretty good anyways!
Happy new year, guys! I thought I would kick off the year with talking about my last year resolutions, and then see what I want to accomplish this new year. So here were last years:
1. I think this year, I’m going to jump the book number up to 30.
2. I’m going to do at least 230 blog posts.
3. A goal of mine is to get Husband on a vacation this year.
4. I want to increase my speed this year.
And here’s how I did!
1 – I read 31! Ha! ha ha ha! I did it! I did it!
2 – I did 296 holy cow. Let’s explain straight away that the only reason I got that many was because of the 100 days of happiness, and had to do 100 in a row. That’s literally the only reason.
3 – This was a success! We went to Oklahoma with his family, we went to Disneyland with his family, and we went on an amazing cruise and to Universal Studios in Florida! It was a good year, vacation-wise, which is good, because I don’t think we’ll be taking one this year.
4 – I honestly don’t know if I did this or not. My times were pretty comparable to last year, but the last few races of the year were super quick because I ran them by myself, so comparing them to when I ran with PJ is a different ball field.
So there it is, my accomplishments. And honestly, I don’t really have any goals for this year. I mean, I would like to continue to read as much as I have been, and my running goal is to run at least 3 miles per day (collectively over the year) because in 2014, I ran 709.9 miles over the course of the year, and I’d like to make that a little more. So we’ll see if those come true! And in any case, good luck with any goals you set!
