Darth and Gecko

These two get cuter all the time.

 Recently, Gecko ran into the wall and broke out his tiny tooth. What a fella, he's always running into things, I think he doesn't know how to stop when he's at full force.

 But he's still always so happy.

Basically, every Darth pic looks like he's humoring us, and his face always looks like he doesn't care to smile.

Card Swap September Edition

I finally realized today that card swap is in a few weeks, so I really should get my cards done. The requirements this time were: Halloween/Thanksgiving/Fall, and a "hi" card. I think I got some good ones: 

They're not spectacular cards, mine never are, but I think they're well within the template and requirements, so I feel all right with them. 

Cupcakes, Cupcakes, Everywhere

I was hired to do the cupcakes for another wedding this weekend, so I took all day to work on them. And naturally, as is my luck, I got a wicked cold the day before, so as I made and frosted the cupcakes, I used a mask to cover my mouth and nose, and used gloves to make sure no germs got in. It made things take a little longer, but at least no germs were spread by me. They had ordered Snickers, lemon, and a Nutella cupcake. They looked pretty good when I was finished, I think.

They were pretty good, if I do say so myself. Lately, I feel like if I'm trying to make this cupcake business take off, I need a snappy name...but that'll take some time to think of. :D

Foto Friday

Recently, at a YW activity, I started to color this page. It took me about 4 days to finish coloring it, and when I finished, I realized that it actually looked like a Dr. Seuss picture that threw up.

It's not great, but at least I finally finished it.

Duct Tape Adventures

Tonight at YW, we had our camp recap. I had made a slideshow of all of our pictures, and we just worked on crafts and stuff left over from camp. After we watched the slideshow, a few girls decided to duct tape another to the wall, to see if they could. Should we leaders have stopped it? Maybe, I don't know the rules. But it was really funny to watch.

They were successful in getting her to stick on the wall, and it was really fun to watch. Good work. ladies.

Gecko Enjoys Water

Gecko went to a splash pad today, and while he usually spends his time there running away from the water, we got some great pics of him getting in it. We thought we were recording him, but instead we took like, 50 burst photos, but they ended up looking awesome.

What a dang cutie!
