Vieve's Place...Enjoy Your Visit
I babysat the fellas again today, their mom had various appointments, so we were ready for fun. When they got here, Epifanio was of course devastated to be left by his mom, but he always bounces back so fast. We decided a walk was in order (now that it had stopped raining) and we walked to the nearest park. We first ran to the double swing, it's our favorite ride.
We played there for a while, until poor Epfianio had soaked his pants through. Something that I hadn't considered is that even though it has stopped raining, there's still water all over every plastic slide in the joint. And Epifanio rode those until they were dry and his pants were wet haha. He did this routine over and over again:
We got home and I pantsed the tiny boy and dried his pants in the dryer as we watched his favorite movie, Frozen. We had a fabulous morning together.
I watched the fellas tonight whilst their parents needed a getaway and we had a great time. After dinner, we were just chilling and nobody could agree on what to watch. So I set the fellas up with their movie in my room and then Epifanio wanted to watch Frozen of course, so I just set him up on my iPad.
Such dang cuties.
So today, we went on a trip to IKEA for the first time in over a year. I don't remember definitively when we went last, but I know we haven't been since the pandemic started. Today, that has changed. Now that we're actually vaccinated, we have decided to slowly start rejoining the world haha. It was Epifanio's first time ever going (he's only almost 2, give us a break) and he LOVED it.
Today, we got the new tiny nieces sealed to their family. What a fun day. And of course with the pandemic, temples are mostly closed, so we were the only ones I could see in there, it was wild. But it was very sweet and so exciting.

Look at this cutie. He is absolutely obsessed with taking our sunglasses, any time he sees them on my face, he will just gesture to get them, and of course I give them over.
We hung out with the fam today for Easter. Husband set up an elaborate Easter treat for the fellas - starting with a treasure hunt inside for their baskets and then ending in an egg hung outside for the plastic eggs. We had some lunch and tried on our new Easter swag.
Then we went to the park to play with Darth's new rocket launcher, which he loved.
Then we ended the day with a traditional Easter dinner and delicious dessert. Then everyone was wiped. We were all sunburned from being outside all day with no sunblock (whoops) and then just drained from all of the good times. Happy Easter, y'all!
Today, we hung out with my cousin, it had been a while, and since we're both vaccinated, it is finally allowed! So we went over to hang out and watch the March madness game (Gonzaga versus UCLA). We made drinks beforehand. (virgin drinks for the husband and I of course)
We watched the game, which ended in an insane buzzer beater 3 pointer from half-court at the end! I'm not even into basketball, but the screaming I did was intense haha. We were happy the Zags won (apparently who we were rooting for). What a fun night!
Today I babysat the fellas and decided it was warm enough we could go to the park. So I grabbed some snacks and we headed out. After a brief few moments of losing Epifanio (luckily some other mom's at the park were with him, whoops) we had a good afternoon. Darth dressed like a dang champ today.
Then the big boys were playing all sorts of games, and Epifanio just wanted to go on the same slide, over and over. We stopped for some water and to take some pics.
