But Where Was Betty?

 I know what you were thinking. Whilst we were on vacation, where was Betty? Luckily, we found a boarding place that was a home, where a couple watches dogs at their own house. I thought this was the best option, since I was SO HESITANT about boarding her at all, because she has SEVERE separation anxiety and flips out often. But the best part is, they send you pictures of your dog while you're gone, so you can see how they're doing! I loved it. 

Look at this model! I was so glad to come back to her. 

Hawaii Day 2

 Today was an exploration day - we wanted to see a lot of the island, so we just piled into the car and drove around everywhere. We saw a lot of the island and went in a loop around the whole thing, it was nice. 

At one point we got to see the temple there, how nice! Of course, being a Sunday, there wasn't much we could do besides just walk around a little, but it was nice to see it. 

We then spent the rest of the day at the beach, where I - you guessed it - slept in the shade for most of the afternoon haha, I am an old lady at heart.

It was too short a trip, but I am so glad that we were able to go. 

Hawaii!

 Y'all, I have never been to Hawaii and this weekend we finally got a chance. We weren't able to go for the entirety of the trip we wanted, but we got to do the weekend and that's good enough. We traveled from Utah to Hawaii right after the graduation, and immediately got to the fun. Jokes, we were pretty jet-lagged, so we got to our hotel, had some food, walked around a bit and then went to bed. 

But! Saturday we woke up nice and early and headed to a beach. We were doing a memorial service for our dear friend, and we wanted to do it at one of his favorite places. It was lovely.

After the service, we just hung out at the beach for the day, enjoying the sun.

That evening, we did dinner on a boat (a catamaran, specifically) and it was the windiest evening ever and the boat must have been flying because we were all getting thrown down quite a bit. We got some pics on there, but to see us trying to take them was hysterical because we were just falling everywhere. 

It was a fun time and one that I was glad to have gone on!

After the boat ride, there was a Spam Jam (festival for Spam) near our hotel but turns out I was SO BURNT by the sun after the beach, I stayed behind and just fell asleep immediately haha, too much in one day for me. 

The Last of the College Graduates

 This weekend, we popped into Utah to see Husband's sister graduate from BYU - and she's the last sibling to do so! Of course we had to party. I ended up having my man Epifanio for the day, and of course he was the cutest. Here's just a binge of photos from the day: 

We had a fun packed day, and it was awesome to see her graduate! She's onto medical school and I couldn't be more proud. 

Flower Lego

 I finished a very simple Lego today, I loved how it turned out. 

Needless to say, Betty was not impressed. 

Disneyland Fun

 Today I had the day off from work, so we popped into Disney for some rides and lunch. We did Autopia, which we haven't done in a while, and it was a good time as always. 

Then we walked over to the California hotel to get a treat that was specific to there, and saw that there was a Millennium Falcon made out of Rice Krispies! 

We came home that evening and had some relaxing time and Betty just wanted to snuggle on my shoulder. 

What a great dog we have. 

Isabelle's Flower Pot

 Lego is rolling out a new Lego theme, a flowerpot with a specific character. The first one is from Encanto, of course with Isabelle's flowers. I got that finished today, and I love it. 

So cute! I can't wait to get the new one, which is going to be here in June, stay tuned. 

Disney Lego Castle Part 2

 Many moons ago (eh a few months, maybe a year, I don't know and tbh I'm too lazy to check) I finished the Disney Lego Castle. Then, of course, Lego came out with a new one. And luckily for me, I got it as a gift for Christmas! So I worked on it finally and finally got it done!

And then of course I had to set them up next to each other. 

So cute! I love them both. 

Casual Disney Days

The amount of times we just go to Disneyland just to have some food is ... high haha it's definitely the most time we spend there. Today was no exception - we popped in to have some of the Food & Wine Festival food. Did I remember to take any pics of the food? Sure didn't! So here's this to enjoy: 

I just got these new Guardian ears this week, had to try them out of course. Lots of good food to be had, and of course lots of warm sunshine.
