Universal Studios Day 2

 Today we did Universal again (if you got one day, you got a second day for free) and it was a hacking blast. We were being casual about everything since we rode everything yesterday, so today was just about doing the stuff we wanted to do one more time. Husband couldn't join us, which was too bad but we still had a good time. The fellas wanted a million more pics today, and we were happy to oblige. 

It was another great day, and so welcome of a distraction. 

Universal Studios Day 1

 We decided to hit up Universal Studios this weekend. I've never been to the California one (Only Florida) and my sister and the fellas have never been, so this was going to be an excitement. It was such a fun day. We went on nearly every ride (the place was not as busy as I thought it was going to be, which was so nice) and ate lots of good food. Gecko met a dinosaur, and was appropriately nervous. 

The place closed at 6:00 today because of Halloween Horror Nights, and we were all too ready to leave around then haha.

Reunited and it feels so good! We are spending a quick weekend together, and I could not be more excited! 

Succulent City

 Now, I'm not good at plants, we know this. I've already killed like, 3 plants in the last few months. But I found these jokers at the store, and wanted to try them out. 

The red one is Rosie, the yellow one is Pedro, and the orange one is Sunburst. I can't wait to see if I can keep these alive, and fingers crossed, I can!

The New Setup of my New Collection

 Now that everything has been set up - beds, clothing, etc., I'm now getting to putting up decor and stuff like that. Husband and Sister left me last Thursday, so I have been working like a busy bee to get things done, since otherwise, I'm just hanging out alone, not knowing anyone here haha. So I got my Disney ears set up today - no longer do they find on the headband holder I had them on just a few short weeks ago. I found this on Etsy, and I love it. 

It's fantastic, and I love it so. I already need a new one, since I've already filled up this one haha and plan to buy more ears, of course. 

The Baby Learns to Cook

 Guys! Our baby boy Epifanio has learned to cook, good for him. 

He's so proud of himself, it makes me cry with happiness haha. 

A Day at Disney

 All of our stuff arrived yesterday, finally. It was a hellish day of unpacking the truck, getting boxes into the right rooms, and just working our tails off. We had decided spur of the moment last night to go to Disneyland today, just me and my sister. We were ready to have a fun day, after the craziness of the last week. Naturally, with how we usually are, we forgot to really take any pictures, but here are a few. 

We had such a fun day, and we got to ride everything. My sister hasn't been here whilst not pregnant, so she was finally able to ride every ride and it was awesome. So glad to we got to take this day and have a good time. 

Catching Up with Lady G

 Whilst I'm in the throes of cleaning this house (our stuff is arriving next week at some point, we don't know when, so we're just prepping the house for the stuff to come) (and as another thing, this house is so dang dirty that if you told me that either A: nobody had lived here for a couple of months and dirt has piled up OR B: that they never used a cleaning product in their lives here, I would believe either story) the only thing giving me some positive vibes are the Lady G pics I've been getting sent, I'm just going to share them all here. 

She's honestly the dang best. 

Soccer Champ

 It's Darth's last soccer game today and I am devastated to miss it. Luckily his dad still sent us some pics, since his mom was with me as well. 

Ugh he's so cute and I'm going to miss his growing up!

Hello, Cali.

We left Vegas this morning and got to the house by the late morning/early afternoon. Hello, new house. 

There was an unfortunate issue with the front door when we got here. The realtor was meeting us here to exchange keys. She had unlocked the door, then turned on the AC, and went outside to grab something from her car. Then she went back to the door and discovered it was locked. And all the keys were inside. Sheesh. So then we tried to get inside, which didn't work, and had to call a locksmith. It took about an hour for them to get there and that was awful haha. It was so dang hot outside - even in the shade, it was absolutely so hot and we were dripping in sweat. After an hour of the locksmith trying to get in with no luck, we finally just had him drill out the lock so we could get in, and we would fix it later.

Something we figured out later was that the door has a failsafe in it - it doesn't actually unlock ever, unless you hit a specific button on the door. So it has the ability to absolutely lock you the heck out, at any time. Dang it. But we finally got in! To our new home! 

Home, sweet, home. 

Bye, Utah

The day has come. The move is here. Today, we say goodbye to Utah. Luckily, my sister is coming with me on the drive down, to help me set up the new house and clean it and all that jazz. We said goodbye to the old house this afternoon and hit the road. 

We made a stop in Vegas for the night, we left late enough that I didn't want to drive all through the night to make it there in one go. I can't believe we've come to the moving day already, it seemed like it was just never going to happen! Next stop, Cali. 

Goodbyes with Everyone

 Tomorrow is our official moving day. It's been a crazy time around here, and today has been absolutely wild. But I got to visit with some people for the last time today, and it was lovely. The fellas were reunited with Lady G, and they loved it.

It was lovely to see my tiny people one more time before leaving. 

I'm going to miss these little jokers, but luckily we live in a time of Zoom and FaceTime, and we can at least still see each other's faces. 

Last Lunch

 I had my last lunch and hangout with some friends today, and it was so sad to realize that I won't be seeing these people on a regular basis! We had a lovely afternoon and then we grabbed some pics. I wasn't given any of the pics other people took and this is the only one I got haha. 

It's going to be weird to leave all my friends and family behind and make new friends, something I've really not had to do, since I've just been in the same place my whole life. But I look forward to the new adventures, hopefully it'll be a great time. 

Helping me Pack

The time is getting closer. Officially, we are moving in 5 days. The house is mostly packed up. We have just ... small odds and ends that need to be either thrown out or packed up. Today, Lady G came (with her delightful mother of course) and helped me pack. I found my old Harry Potter wand, and tried to make Lady G a wizard and she did not cast any spells.
