We were at At Home today, and I came across the following:
I decided to show it to Epifanio, who had a bad reaction to it.
I laughed so hard at this, his reaction is so bizarre.

This baby is so cute. Luckily for me, the babies in my life are so cute, I can just enjoy every inch of every picture. I got some Lady Grantham pics today and I am so happy to see them.
Y'all. I watched Epifanio today, and this son of a gun absolutely had a hard day of it. First, we ate our breakfast ramen, as one does.
Then we spent the afternoon watching movies (I introduced him to Aladdin, no idea if he liked it) and then he did his usual Epifanio stuff, which is, run full speed into something and then hit into it.
Then, things took a dark turn.
OH MY GOSH. I am shocked at how he is still alive! But then he was too tuckered out by everything, so I just had to snuggle him until he slept.
I kept checking his eyes for a concussion but he was a-ok. Then when he woke up, he was fine, just a little subdued. Poor fella.
Y'all. The Lady Grantham has arrived.
For months now, I've been waiting. I spoke back in May about my cousin being pregnant, and finally, the tiny lady has arrived! She's a little early, but that's just more time for us to love her. I got to see her today (she was born on Thursday!) and she absolutely did not disappoint.
I did a Lego set on impulse yesterday. It's from the worlds greatest movie, Jurassic World Dominion.
We went and saw this movie as a family during the funeral weekend. It was definitely one of the most ridiculous movies I have ever seen and I could not stop laughing at it during the whole movie. My SIL's felt the same as I. The boys of the family however, were all soooo mad at it haha for multiple reasons. The science behind it was wrong, of course, and they couldn't get past that. I totally recommend this flick, it's fun!
Last week, Darth was talking about how he wanted to hold a snake, and a spider, and all sorts of creepy crawlers. We googled to see if it was a possibility, and we found a place in SLC, Scales and Tails, that you could do just that. In a very un-Vieve like move, we spontaneously booked some tickets for this week, and went today!
Y'all, it was awesome. They were so knowledgable, funny, and made the whole thing so fun and safe. And of course, we held everything we could.
I realized the other day that I don't think Epifanio knows my full name. I tested my theory.
Hmmm I was right. Then I asked him if he could say my full name, by saying it and having him repeat me. He did a great job.
Amazing. Jammybeeb. Perfect.
Today, I hung out with the fellas again, and we had a full day. Splash pad was number one on the list and we were HYPE. We went to the splash pad that these kiddos like the best, and it was closed! We learned later that this particular splash pad is closed every Thursday. Booooo. So we went to our second choice, and it was absolutely packed, but of course we stayed. Epifanio actually played in the water for once, something he never does!
Then we had a v fancy lunch of Taco Bell (their choice) and had a lovely picnic.
We took a few family photos this weekend, since we were all together as an extended family.
We were definitely missing some spouses on this trip, but hopefully we'll all be together soon.
This weekend, we are in Montana for a funeral. Today we had the service, both at the graveside, and because the deceased was a Catholic, we had Mass. It was my first Mass, how exciting! First of all, these churches are absolutely gorgeous, I feel like we could learn a thing or two from them.
This is just the door, I felt so weird taking pictures in a church haha. Then we went to a country club for the luncheon, and y'all. I have never been in such a fancy place in my life. I'm not talking about the club. I'm talking about the bathroom. It was PLUSH. Lotions, hairsprays, blow dryers, couches, chairs, everything. So my SIL's and I decided to do the girl thing and took some selfies.
Husband is out of town this week, so we decided to have a sleepover in his absence. I think the fellas are still a little nervous to be sleeping away from home, so when we usually have a sleepover, they sleep on the couch. Then, they usually come into my room several times a night, asking if it's morning. SHEESH. So after the last time, they said that they wanted to try having a sleepover but sleeping in my bed with me. Oof, this definitely made me nervous, but I was willing to give it a try. So they came over after work, and we started our night of fun. We had burgers, s'more pies, and watched great movies. Then we finally went to bed. We all fit, snug as a bug.
Sadly, directly after this picture, Epifanio started to have some struggles, and just wanted mommy to pick him up. After like, 15 minutes of listening to "mommy get me" we decided that would be the best idea. So off he went, and the three of us had a sleepover. Despite Darth snuggling up to men every chance he got, it actually went pretty well! Nobody woke up several times during the night, nobody was awake at 6:00 (the usual occurrence) and they all stayed in bed until like, 8:30! Glorious! We did it!
I have definitely slowed down on building Lego things right now (emptying out the house of anything unnecessary will do that for you) but I still love to build, so I just do them once in a while. Lately, we have been working on the Lego Globe and it is so good.
Magnificent.
