Y'all, we have made it to 2022. Absolutely wild, I can't believe how quickly and slowly the last few years have gone, during this pandemic. Let's revisit our goals for 2021 and see how I did.
Run every day (duh)
Read 50 books. (now that I have a job and it's not quarantine, it'll be slightly more difficult)
Make better choices. I'm not saying, no sugar, or something. I just need to consciously make better choices about food in general.
Okay, so yes, I did run every day. I ended up running 1862.2 miles last year! Yikes, might be too many, but oh well, I'm still alive.
Read 50 books. Okay, this was so close. I ended up reading 48 books. Most of my problem is that I ended up doing the Pioneer Book challenge. You've got to read 40 books - and they have to be specific books. Because I ended up not liking a lot of the books, I got so burned out on reading. So I did finish the challenge - but I was too over books to finish my own challenge.
Make better choices. I really did go up and down on this. Somedays I did really well, and others I really didn't. That's fine.
Now, let's do this year.
Run every day (so easy to do haha)
I'm going to say that I'm going to read 50 this year. I have faith, this year will be different.
Keep making good decisions about food in general (still!)
Go to one RSL game (I've just gotten real lazy about watching them on TV, but I should go to one)
You know, that's probably a good list, let's let the goals be small and the results be big.
Happy New Year!
