What Would You Take to the Moon?

 Whenever I get to see one of Darth's assignments, it makes me smile so hard, he is just such a funny guy (not on purpose haha). He had an assignment this week to write down things he would take to the moon.

I am dying that family is last on his list. I mean, I guess I should be glad we made it at all! 

A Masked Baby

 With masks being so prevalent now, I'm realizing that its all Epifanio knows. Since he's been old enough to notice anything, he's only seen people in masks. He had a hard time in the past - when we would meet up during the first hard core shut-down, if I was in a mask and he didn't see my face first, he wouldn't know who I was at all. That was rough, but we got past it. Today we went to the Simply Mac to get my laptop fixed, and when we were inside, he kept pointing to our masks and nodded and pointing at himself. We asked if he wanted a mask, and he nodded. (He can't talk yet, but he can understand everything anyone says, and responds with a nod or a head shake) We put it on him, and he looked freaking adorable. 

He was having such a great time. Look at that little man. 

Day with the Fellas

 I babysat a few of the fellas today, and it was a grand old time. As soon as they showed up, at noon, they had to eat right away, it's lunch time, after all. After our lunch, we went on a walk. It was a bit chilly outside, so I wrapped them into a blanket. 

We returned home and watched a movie, finishing one that we had started last week. We had fun mostly jumping on the couch instead of watching, and then we wanted to snuggle. 

A little later, we had to take some time for his feelings, after being told that he had to take his hands out of his diaper. 

We just needed to take some time to recover from such an emotional blow. Luckily everyone got along and nobody had any issues, so it was a relatively quiet afternoon! 

Cards, Cards, Cards

 Time for another card swap, so time to make some more cards! The themes this time were boys birthday card, and a female card. I chose simple ones this time, they're just fine. 

Such a Smart Animal

 Well, the dog of mine is a real smart cookie. (see what I did there?) Today, she kept going behind her cage, where she then gets stuck. We have to go open the door behind her (thank goodness there is a bathroom door behind her) and let her out. So when she get stuck there again, I went ahead and recorded her, then tried to see if I could get her to come out on her own. 

It just makes me laugh so hard, what an amazing dog. 

Vernal, Day 2

 Today was a new day in Vernal! After working out and whilst having a stretch, I was joined by Epifanio for the occasion. 

We went to a dinosaur museum today, and Gecko had the time of his life. 

After we wandered there for a while, we found the Vernal temple! I was hype of course and had to stop at take some pics. 

Lovely! Then we spent the afternoon watching a new movie on Netflix (Yes Day, totally recommend). It was such a fun day, and such a fun trip! It's the perfect amount of time, long enough to get away but not so long that you hate everyone by the end. :D 

Time for Vernal!

 So, still being in the pandemic, we are trying to change up the scenery whilst being safe. Our good man Gecko is having a birthday this upcoming week, so we decided to get out of dodge and have a trip for him. Because he loves dinosaurs so much, we chose Vernal, since they have a bunch of dinosaur things. We got in last night, and after a good nights rest, we went to Dinosaur Land - the place that has bones in the walls! Let's take a look. 

When we got there, Gecko was so dang hype as soon as he saw the stegosaurus leading into the visitors center. 

So they have an entire wall here of Dino bones. When we asked why they're in the wall and not, taken out for excavation or anything, the ranger said that they simply have enough and they didn't need them. So here they stand. They have a few that are low that they let you touch, pretty cool. 

Then we went to a few different places, we found some petroglyphs, v cool. 

The fellas got to become junior rangers today! They did some questions in a book, and then took a pledge (adorable) and they got some badges! 

Hype! 

We had a fun day! Then it started to get cold and snowy, so we spent the evening inside, playing games and having a good time. 

Work, Hard Work

 So, for our anniversary, Husband got me another Lego set. This one... the most amazing of all ... (okay not really)

Lego Friends! 

It took me 2 full days (okay, not full, in my spare time) to put it together, but now I am done! I am so excited for how great it looks. And I can't wait for the next one! 

More Epifanio in sunglasses

 Guys, this baby loves sunglasses all of a sudden and I love it. 

He just loves to wear them all the time. 

10 Years!

 Y'all. Holy cow. It has been 10 years! Husband and I were married 10 years ago today, holy cow. I can't believe the time has gone. I made a gift for him for our anniversary. The 10th year is the tin year - in case you didn't know. So I made this:
