Just Always Epfianio

 I know I post so many pictures of him, but he's always around! He's not in school, he doesn't run off to play, he's always here. 

He had just woken up from a nap here haha he always is so mad when he wakes up.

One of his obsessions is playing with pots and pans.

Familiar Gifts

 Y'all, I celebrated my birthday this last weekend, and it was a good time. I was given gifts from a friend, my sister, and a sister in law. Let's see if you can spot the similarities.

Much like the year where 4 people gave me the same cupcake cookbook, I was gifted 3 running medal holders. Reader, when this happened the second time I laughed, and when it happened the third, I cackled. So after a couple days, I finally finagled Husband into helping me put them up. 

So here are the first ones...

And here is my whole running wall! I wish they all could have fit on the same wall, but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. And now I'm ready for more medals! 

More Negative

 Y'all, I did the dang corona test again. After my mouth surgery, I had a sore throat for days, and then a cough kicked in. I had a runny nose and a slight fever. Of course I thought I had it! So I took the corona test again, to make sure I hadn't caught it. 

Ugh y'all. 

That test. For sure it sucks. But hey, gotta put up with crap sometimes. 

And then a mere 72 hours later, 

Woo hoo! I was sure I didn't have it, but with symptoms and my fear running high, I wanted to check it out, just to make sure and give myself some peace of mind.

And now I can blissfully go back to just sitting and never leaving my house. 

Time for School!

 Y'all, I can't believe it's time for school and I don't even have to do anything! I'm done! There's nothing else to do! Woohoo! But the fellas are heading back this week - Darth is first grade and Gecko is preschool. Here they are on their first days. 

But first, their pre-first day of school haircuts, looking fresh.

Darth all ready to go in, I picked out this shirt at the store thinking he wouldn't wear it and apparently he loves it!

They both love school and I hope they keep that joy about it forever!

Too cute when he sleeps. 

I was watching him at food trucks the other day, while everyone was getting our food. This is him watching his dad very very closely. 

Apparently the other morning he woke up and was mad. So he laid on the floor for so long that his folks thought he had gone back to sleep. They look over the edge of the bed to see him and just see him laying here, angrily. It makes me laugh so hard.

Crumbl Breakfast

 Tomorrow I'm having a gum graft surgery - they'll pull gum from the roof of my mouth and then stitch it all over the part I had a bone graft on a few months ago. To say that I won't be able to chew is an understatement - there's no way to be doing any chewing! So today I am celebrating my last day of eating by eating everything crunchy. As I was sitting down to breakfast, the doorbell rang. I went and grabbed it and lo and behold, I was gifted some Crumbl from my cousin!

I'm not looking forward to tomorrow, but at least today will be sweet! 

Tea Service!

When I was at the grocery store the other day, I found clotted cream. Now, of course, it's not the same as clotted cream over in Ireland (here we require it to be pasteurized, but they don't require it there) but it was still okay. Because I found this delightful treat, I was like, okay I need to have myself a tea service. I didn't have time to make tiny sandwiches or treats, but I made some homemade scones, got out all of my jams, and made some tea. It was delicious!

 Today I learned that if you turn the flash on your camera, Epifanio knows that he needs to make a face. Is he probably trying to smile? Probably, but it looks a little horrifying. Please enjoy.

A Thank You Card

  A neighbor of mine is an amazing seamstress. She has made over 700 masks since Corona has started. She recently used her skills to make the fellas some masks. We went to the fabric store to get material that they would like and be excited about, so that wearing masks at school won't be too much of a chore. After we got the masks from her, I had the fellas write her a thank you card. I died when it was finished, Darth did his best in writing it, but it still looks a bit like a serial killer : 

I just loved this so much haha what a champ for trying. 

Buncha Loons

I don't really have stories with these photos, so I'm just doing a picture dump. 

Darth got some stuff under the deck, so he had to go under there and get them. To protect himself, we gave him some kneepads and this hat. He just looks like such a goof. 

He absolutely got himself stuck like this, babies are such idiots. 

The other day, Husband put the dog to bed (by this I mean, we lock her into her cage at night) and then we were just getting ready for bed and whatnot. Shortly after this, all of a sudden, this weirdo appears in our room. Turns out, he forgot to lock the cage haha. She visited for a few minutes until she had to go to bed.
