Missing the Cookster

Since I've been away for all the summer and have missed Cookie for so much of it, here are a couple of great pics of her while I've been away, please to enjoy.

Girls Camp Recap!

Well, this last week I went to girls camp, and what a fun time was had by all! I actually lost my voice - we screamed so much that I woke up this morning and had no voice at all! I got some awesome shirts for camp, and now without further ado, here they all are :

I think this year was probably my favorite year so far. It was awesome and tbh I want to go back to Heber Valley over Shalom every year now.

Happy Birthday Darth!

Y'all, Darth turns 4 today! Oh my jeez, where does the time go?! It seems like yesterday he was born! I snapped this pic of us yesterday, what a goober.

 For his birthday he wanted to go swimming, so we went to the Scera and it was their first time there.

 So we've gone swimming a few times over the last few weeks, and I've learned that Gecko does not care for water. He's more than happy to just sit on the towel and watch people swim. Since I don't care for water, this is also my favorite place to be, so I'm happy to oblige and sit with him. This is right after he's eaten some Cheetos, hence the orange all over.

Hopefully the little rascal had a great birthday, I sure had a fun day celebrating with him!

Temple Time

Today was the first time my SIL went through the temple. She asked me to be her escort, which I was so thrilled to be asked. We had to be there ridiculously early, and she snapped a great pic of the temple as the sun was rising.

 When we got out of the temple, we snapped some family pics and I just love this one of us.

Good work, Sis, I'm proud of you!

Splash Pad

Today I took small Gecko to the splash pad, and he had a great time. As y9u can see from this video, a small guy wanted to take his toy, and Gecko was not having it. Soon after I took the video, we left the splash pad because the kid kept coming over and trying to take it, and Gecko got sick of it ha ha.

Then I loaded him up in the car, and he looked at me with these big ol' baby blues and I couldn't resist. What a cutie.

Cards again

Next week is another card swap, and since I've been gone, I had to hustle to get these done! I am pleased with how they turned out, so I wanted to share.

Happy Birthday Husband!

Today is Husband's birthday, how fun! We started the day by getting massages, and that was such a great way to start the day. Then we had a chill day of stuffs, and then tonight, I decorated a cake (that I certainly didn't make, and tbh I am not great at decorating.

This is of course a call back to the other day and we couldn't stop laughing at it!

Happy Independence Day!

Happy 4th, everyone! I started the day in my usual fashion, the Provo City Freedom 10k. I added a cape this year! Magical.

 Husband got a cool action shot of me finishing the race, look at my majestic cape fly.

 That night, we had our usual dinner and fireworks at my house, and these jokers sat on my lap the whole time of fireworks.

 Earlier, my SIL asked if I could do a handstand. I said no, and then she said to try and that she would spot me. Her face as she tries to do so here kills me, zoom in if you need to, it's amazing.

All in all, a pretty good holiday! I hope you and yours had a great day too!

Spending time with the Boys

Today I spent some time with the fellas, and they helped me to get ready for tomorrow by shopping for food and making the treats. First we went shopping and then a walk, where Gecko had enough and just wanted to spend some time sitting.

As we were making our brownie dessert for tomorrow. Gecko could not understand why I wouldn't let him just lick the frosting.
