15 Years!

 Y'all, can you believe, this year is my 15th wedding anniversary?! I can't believe how the time has flown! 

Of course, being a weekday I unfortunately had to work, and I have a cold, which is also too bad, but we still had fun.

We had some dinner at Disneyland - we went to Hearthstone Restaurant, where we ended up with a piece of chocolate as big as our heads.

And then of course, gotta drizzle the chocolate on it. 

This is as far as we got on it before I had to admit defeat - and this honestly made our stomachs hurt - why didn't I stop earlier?! 

Anniversary 14!

 We've made it to our 14th anniversary, y'all! What a crazy time! To celebrate, we decided to go up to Universal and have a fun day. Unfortunately for all of us, apparently the sky decided to open up and pour rain down. We tried to make the best of it, we went to the new Mario Land, where we had lunch (including this Princess Peach cupcake)

And we rode the new Mario Kart ride, which was fun.

Shortly after this, and a couple of other rides, we were absolutely soaked through, cold, and I was having not very much fun at all haha. So we called it a night, came home early, and got cozy and watched a movie. It was a fun day, just wet!

Happy Anniversary to Me!

 Today is mine and Husband's 13 year anniversary. We celebrated by going to dinner at a fancy restaurant near us, The Ranch. We had loads of good stuff. 

I got a fancy mocktail, something with hibiscus and pineapple. Delicious.

We shared this absolutely massive steak and sides and then had a few desserts. 

Such a cute place, they even did this plate for us with a creme brûlée for free! What a lovely night! 

12 Years!

 Guys! We have made it to 12 years of marriage! We had a very chill anniversary - I had yet another mouth surgery the day before, so we were just keeping it low key. We kicked off the day with Husband getting me a new Lego set - the LOTR Rivendell set (stay tuned for when that beauty is done) and I spent a good chunk of the day working on that. Then we went to dinner at this place here in CA, it has an outdoor dining area that overlooks the city, and it is just gorgeous. 

We took a pic, despite me not being able to smile, really haha.

10 Years!

 Y'all. Holy cow. It has been 10 years! Husband and I were married 10 years ago today, holy cow. I can't believe the time has gone. I made a gift for him for our anniversary. The 10th year is the tin year - in case you didn't know. So I made this:

Pottery Pick Up!

I went and picked up our anniversary pottery today! I love it, they look great.

Now I just need to figure out a place to put these treasures.

Happy 9 Years!

Y'all, it is my anniversary today! Husband and I have made it to 9 years, can you believe it? We had a fun filled day! First, we went to Color Me Mine and painted our own things. Since 9 years is the pottery year, of course we had to do something with pottery. I chose the red truck that is popular of late

 I can't wait too see what it looks like when it's been put through the kiln! Don't worry, I'll post it when we get it back.

Then we snagged a pic on our way to dinner, how fun.

We went to a diner up in SLC that we have heard good things about, and it was so tasty!

7 years!

You guys! Today marks 7 years of wedding bliss to Husband. We didn't take any pictures today but here are some favorites from the last year. I can't believe it's already been 7, what a great ride it's been.

Six Years!

You guys, today marks 6 years of marriage for the Husband and I. I almost can't believe how fast the time has gone! Since today is a Sunday, we celebrated yesterday. We went up to Park City and got massages and then ate dinner at a swank Italian place that was super delicious. It's been a great 6 years, and I look forward to many, many more!

Our 5th Anniversary!

You guys! It's my 5th wedding anniversary! I can't believe we've made it this long, and good for us! In all seriousness, I'm so glad we're still going strong, and we have such fun together. I have loved the last 5, and I look forward to the next jillion.

An Anniversary Celebration

So, today, if everyone can believe it, is my 4th wedding anniversary! 4 years, holy cow have they passed quickly. And we’re still together! Miracles happen every day. For dinner, we went to fancy(ish) Chef’s Table, and ate delicious (expensive, sheesh) food. Of course it’s not kosher to take pics of your food there, but I snuck a pic of our dessert.

This is a chocolate hazelnut dome, and it’s just as awesome as it sounds. This kind of thing is too fancy for me to make, so it’s fantastic to enjoy. But happy anniversary to the hubby (who doesn’t read this blog) and here’s to many more!

Miscellaneous...Wednesday

Ok, everyone. I know it’s been quite a long time since I’ve been on here last. Truth is, there hasn’t been a lot going on, and really, things are kinda boring, so I held off as long as I could. But now there are a few things I could document on here, so let’s get to it.

As I mentioned before, I am now the Assistant Den Leader for the Webelos. I have by now had 1 activity, and 1 Pack meeting. For the activity, the boys all wrestled for like, an hour, then made collages as quickly as humanly possible so they could get back to fighting with each other. Since this is really my first experience hanging out with more than 2 or 3 boys (my nephews, who, compared to this, are really quite tame, who knew?) I was pretty taken aback by all this. And then last night, we had a Pack Meeting (The Blue & Gold Banquet, doesn't that sound fancy?), which apparently happens once a month, and everyone gets together to hand the monthly awards out to the boys, should they have gotten any pins/patches or whatever it is they get. Truthfully, I haven’t learned any of the lingo yet, but I expect to someday. I mean, come on, its still my first month!

Monday was Husband and I’s one year anniversary. That’s right, doubters- we made it to one year of being married! (I don’t know that there are many doubters out there, but if there are, I want to rub this in their face.) We kept it pretty low key, being a weeknight and everything, and went to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner. I cannot express how much I love this place. I’m glad it’s not closer to where I live, or else I would probably eat here once a week. For our gifts, we went in halfsies on a new TV – the one we have is…well, its not small, but for the room we have it in, it’s really hard to see, and it’s really far away from where you sit to watch it. So we got a new 55” TV – we had found one on sale, and decided that was the way to go. So we got it home on Monday, set it up, and holy cow! It’s just so…big! I’m definitely not used to it yet, but it’s really nice to be able to see words on the screen, and able to see the TV completely. I’m still trying to get used to the size of the TV, and I imagine that someday I will. I just can’t wait to watch a soccer game on it.

Speaking of soccer, the season starts this weekend! I am so excited for it. Sadly, we open with an away game, at LA, but I still have high hopes. The team has many new players, which is good, there are a few injuries right now as well. I'm going to hope for a win - I want a win so badly against LA, and to have a win at LA would be even better. I'm sure I'll update everyone here with the game results, so everyone - cross your fingers, toes, and everything else you can for a win for the RSL!
