Last Set of Cards

Y'all, I have my final set of cards for my final card club. Our current plan is to move to Cali the end of August/beginning of September, so this upcoming week is my last card swap. There was some thoughts of doing the card swap via Zoom but honestly, I hate doing things via Zoom when you're the only person on Zoom. Then it's just lonely and not fun. So I made my last set of cards and it was sad! But at least these last set isn't too bad at all. 

Card Time, Yet Again

 Y'all, nearly time for Card Swap again, so time to make some new cards. We were doing two months at one time, so I had to make twice as many cards. I think they turned out great!

 Time for new cards, babeeee! I am pleased with how these turned out, and glad that they didn't take all of my sanity trying to come up with them. 

Now, do I make the worst cards in my group? Yes, probably I do. But you know what, I try, and that's all that matters. 

Christmas Card and Neighbor Gift

 I made my Christmas card and neighbor gift today, finally, with card swap being in a whopping 3 days. 

In case you can't see, in the little bag, there are jolly ranchers, with the card saying "have a holly jolly Christmas". It's in black and white ink because as it turns out, my printer ran out of ink and I had no desire to go to a store and get them, sorry fellow card-swappers.

 Time for cards again! This month, the themes were a Halloween card, and a Hello card. I think they turned out pretty good! 

Time for More Cards

 Card Swap is this weekend (I know, I'm cutting it so close) so I had to make my cards this week, finally finishing them today. 

I followed the template for both cards, which I don't usually do, but it ended up working pretty well, so I just kept it going. 

Card Time

 It's time for cards this weekend, and it snuck right up on me. I almost couldn't believe it when I looked at the calendar. So I took a look at the template, and copied it as best I could. 

It was wild to leave a card with so much white on there, but I just had to leave it alone! And then my other card was utter garbage. It was supposed to be a flowers and fun card, but my attitude this week is mostly just depressed after Cookie, so I just did a card kit and called it good. 

Eh sorry that it's sideways. Anyway. The card isn't the worst card ever, but it sure had no effort, so I know I gotta do better next month.

 Time for another card swap, so time to make some more cards! The themes this time were boys birthday card, and a female card. I chose simple ones this time, they're just fine.

 I made some cards yesterday for the card swap coming up this weekend. I followed the template for one, and then did my own freethinking for the other. I think they turned out pretty good. They're never as good as anyone else's in the group, but honestly, I'm okay with being the simple person of the gang haha. 

Christmas Card Time!

 Card Swap is this weekend, and while we won't be meeting in person (hecking Covid, I am absolutely sick of it ruining everything) we are still doing our card and neighbor gift. So I made mine and while it's really simple, I just love it. 

Then for my neighbor gift, I chose a simple bath bomb.

I got the printable from a Pinterest page of course, and it was so easy to attach with a ribbon. And voila! 

Time for Cards

 6 full days before my next card swap, I actually did my cards hahaha. I followed the template, and it was a freaking beast. They are definitely not that great of cards, but honestly, I just was like, whatever, I did what I could. 

The triangles are wildly uneven, but at least it's hidden by the center thing. I probably could have done a better job, but honestly, I don't care. I did the best I could do, and that's where I'm at. Next month will probably be better, eh?

We have card swap in a week, so naturally I waited until today to make my cards! They ended up being pretty good, I think. Finally.

Today I realized that card swap is soon (this weekend!) so I need to get to getting on my cards. I decided to just follow the template this time on both of the cards (just for ease haha) and I like it.

Making Cards in the Nick of Time

I realized today that card swap is this upcoming weekend, so I had to get my bum in gear and make some cards! After a really long afternoon of planning them out, they were finally made.

 I found a card similar to this online and online it looked really cool and awesome! When I made it, it ended up looking really...gloomy. Ah oops, mistakes are often made in the card game, but I'm just sticking with it at this point.

As you can see, this was made in two forms. (only one is made in the white/flower one). This card evolved as I was making it, and changed after I put the first card together. Then I realized the yellow looked a little better and I didn't want to waste the materials, so I just left one card different, and I can keep that one, no worries haha.

Tonight I had a chance to do my cards finally and they turned out...all right, I suppose. I'm just so stressed by school that really, I can't give much thought to outside endeavors haha. But I did my best and at least they're done.

Card-Makin' Time

I realized this week, with no school, no work, no anything, that this was the perfect time to get my cards made for the January card swap! I actually made this love one in no time at all, the design just came perfectly to my head and got out so fast! The thank you card was also easy - I just wanted a simple design this time, hopefully the other gals enjoy them as well.
