Bestie Birthdays

 Tomorrow is the birthday of my new(ish, not really new anymore) friend in Cali, Avenue. We chose to hit up Disney for the day. 

It was SO HOT all day. SO HOT. We were absolutely dripping in sweat, but it was such a fun day! 

Happy Birthday to Epifanio

 Y'all, today is Epifanio's birthday. This baby is turning 6, I can't believe it. 

Photo Booth Fun

 It's a friends birthday this month, and she had a party today to celebrate. She had all sorts of photo booth picture stuff, and of course, we had to take a photo.

 Today was my birthday, and I had the day off from work even, how fun! Husband told me he had a meeting in the AM but then he'd be home for us to have some fun. 

That man tricked me. 

He had surprised me by flying in my besties and we all had a fun day. First we had some breakfast at Snooze, I do love that place. 

Then we headed over to Splitsville, in Downtown Disney, I have wanted to go bowling there this whole time and never had the chance. They gave me some ice cream there, how fun! 

We had a lot of fun bowling, I do love to bowl. Husband surprised me by bringing in some Cali friends with my Utah friends, how fab. 

Then, Husband made me my fav cake - yellow with chocolate frosting. 

What an amazing day! Thanks to Husband for all this planning! 

40!

 Y'all, Husband is finally turning 40, an old man! (okay shut up that I already turned 40 last year)

  But happy birthday to him! 

Happy Birthday, Betty!

 Ahhh our baby is one year old today! We had to celebrate. 

I put this little tiara on her and this was the best I could do, picture-wise hahah. 

So we brought her some doggy ice cream and a delicious doggy dinner and she had no idea why but it was so cute. 

Birthday Day !!

 Today was the blessed day of the birth of my favorite sister!

We celebrated by taking in a baseball game - the Bees, to be exact. First of all, I did realize that we taught Epifanio some bad habits. 

It's toooo funny when he does this, I laugh so hard every time hahaha. 

Then up to the game! It was so so fun. So so hot. 

(yes, make sure to peep that Epifanio also did a flip off at the game, subtly haha)

And then on the way home, everyone was wiped. 

After a nap and a meal, we were revived and took a walk. 

All in all, a fun day! 

Weekend Shenanigans

Time for the weekend to begin. Now, I know, going into this, that it would be a chill weekend.  My sister is only a month out from her hip surgery, so she's still not 100% mobile for long periods of time. And that was fine with me - I could just be sitting in silence here and it would be a good time. We spent the morning doing regular shopping errands and just hanging out. 

Epifanio is forever my picture buddy.

A Surprise!!

 Guys, I am terrible at surprises. I'm just too excited, I give things away so easily. But this year, I had a great one. A few months ago, I decided to surprise my sister for her birthday. So I booked a plane ticket, made plans for that weekend and just had to wait. ...and wait ... and wait ... guys the waiting was the worst! Then she would float the idea of something happening that weekend and I just kept having to be like, ah dang I have to work that weekend, shoot. 

So then, finally the day was here. I took extra steps to make sure it would be a surprise. I stopped sharing locations on all the apps that do so, just in case. I concocted a story of having to go to a dinner for Husband's work, which could explain away any texting absences. Husband even went far enough to stop at his school after dropping me off, and sending a Snapchat from campus to make it look like we were there. It was perfect. The flight was slightly delayed, then it took forever to get luggage, but finally, I was there! I snuck in the house (it was nearly 10:00 at this point so the boys were all in bed) and gave me surprise. 

It worked! The surprise worked! What a victory! I was counting on my BIL to get some video of the interaction but in an old-man move, he absolutely just got 3 seconds of nothing haha. But now, the birthday weekend can begin!!

One Year Older and Wiser Too...

 You Guys! Lady G is one years old today, can you believe it?! How the time has flown! 

Happy Birthday, Epifanio!

 I can't believe our tiny Epifanio is turning 4 today, you guys! He's a man! 

They took him out for a birthday breakfast, and then spent the day doing everything he wanted. This is his first birthday that we've not been there for it, and it's hard! I miss my fellas. 

Birthday Fun

Today was my birthday, so I spent the day with my friends and family, which was really nice. We played some fabulous games and had lots of yummy food, and we hung out. I got pics with all the babies, and it was a good time. 

And then, Epifanio's feels made an appearance - he was mad when told he couldn't drink any of his mom's soda haha. 

Happy Birthday, Gecko!

 Y'all, our tiny friend Gecko is turning 6! He's a man! We had a fabulous day with him, took him to Brick Oven for lunch, went to Color Me Mine (where he of course chose a Dino to paint) and then had a party for him at Nickel City. We decorated a Dino cake for him, also. 

I played some games with Epifanio whilst everyone else was playing Lazer Tag (The poor tyke was scared in the dark) and he had a great time. 

And at the end of the night, I turned my tickets in for this amazing turtle, whom I called Giacomo

Mama's Birthday

 Yesterday was mama's birthday, so we celebrated by going out to dinner, and then taking advantage of the Riverwoods lighting ceremony. We saw fireworks, lighting of lights, and got to take some pics in the photo booths. 

The guy we asked to take this picture absolutely took the most zoomed out picture he could have taken and like ... dang man. Not cool. 

It was such a fun night, and I'm so glad we got to celebrate her properly. 

Birthday at the Zoo

 Yesterday was Atti's birthday (and that weirdo chose for all of us to eat Big Macs and McNuggets) but I had to work, so today we did some celebrations. He chose the zoo, so this morning, we loaded up and headed out. We had such a fun day! Luckily it wasn't too too hot. Of course, yes, it was, but it wasn't unbearable. 

The zoo is very much the same as it always has been, but its improving and also a new fancy place (don't ask me to explain it!) so it was such a fun day, seeing everything and watching Epifanio see these animals for the first time.
