Vieve's Place...Enjoy Your Visit
Today was the first day of our cruise - and it was just staying in Quebec City haha. We took the day to really explore the area, and we got to take a full on tour of the citadel. Here's the Citadel at night from our ship:
And there it is during the day. The tour was so great, and the whole island was so nice.

Today, we kicked off another cruise and this time, we went to the other side of Canada. We flew into Quebec City last night, and we're going to kick off a week of cruising down the Canadian coast and finishing in Boston. We did the overnight flight from LAX and then went right to the cruise ship. We spent the day walking around Quebec City, and had a nice time in this warm weather.
We went inside this church, and then walked around the fort. There are approximately 1 million cannons surrounding the island, as this was their fortress and protection.
I got this Lego set for my birthday, and there's nothing I wanted more. Its a knock off set, not "real" Lego but its so fantastic. This is definitely one of my favorite movies as a kid, Short Circuit 2. It's...Johnny 5.
This was insanely hard but its so great. And it moves around and everything like a tiny robot!
Today was my first Disneyland Race (my previous race was Disney World!) and I was hyyype. I had planned on doing the 10k and the half marathon, but the 10k was sold out so I just had to do the one race. I chose Little Mermaid for my costume and left the house at like ... 3:30 this morning, OOF.
The race was hard and was SO HOT and I was soaking with sweat everywhere by the time it was done. But we did it, and I was so glad to finish and get water.
Sooo glad to be done with this!
I am a little sick of the pink hair, so I'm ready to get something new. I was hoping to get a kind of silvery gray hair, so I went to a fancy salon and showed them my vision.
Unfortunately for myself, what I wanted was a no go because of the pink that was still struggling to stay in the middle of my hair. It said it was supposed to wash out and it did ... from the top of my head and the bottom of the hair, but the middle was still pink, smh. So I went in and after several hours there, and lots of panicking as I was going, finally, it came to an end.
Now I probably just need to go back for one more attempt to get rid of the pink completely and hopefully go for silver.
Since our flight is in the afternoon today, we had a bit of time this morning, so we met up with my cousin and Lady G. We went to a new (to me) place and it was so good. While we waited for our food, Lady G played with the filters on Snapchat.
I got the flight of pancakes, and they were absolutely huge and very delicious. I'll be sad to see Utah go but I do miss my tiny dog and my house.
With this weekend being Labor Day, we decided to extend our trip out to Monday, so we had today for fun and games. We went to the worlds biggest Costco, which is located in Salt Lake City. And yeah, it was huge. We had so much fun wandering around. Then of course we had to grab lunch.
That evening, the grownups played D&D, but since that's not my scene, I worked on my tutu for my upcoming Disney race, and ended up finishing it! I'm glad, the race is this next Sunday, and I was nervous about getting it done. Overall, a real fabulous short weekend with my best peeps.
